Xiaomi Mi A2 price in Nepal | Release Date | Specs

After the grand success of Xiaomi A1 . The chinese smartphone maker is all set to lauch second generation of its new series which has codename Mi 6X and according to sources it is new Mi A2 smartphone.It is a new budget smartphone that Xiaomi is going to launch within some weeks. The budget smartphone market is very much crowded these days but Xiaomi seems to make a dent in the market with all new Mi A2.

Mi A1 is already a big hit and xiaomi wants to follow same success with mi A2. According to sources, we can confirm that Xiaomi Mi A2 comes with a big screen of 6 inch with aspect ratio of 18:9 .It is full hd display with the rumoured display size of 1080 x 2160 . With that display size and 18:9 aspect ratio we get 403 pixel per inch which is not so appealing but not a deal breaker. It is brighter outdoor and HD+ resolution seems to work just fine. The display comes with different modes to support different condition.It comes with Night mode to properly adjust display brightness at night and accommodate accordingly. 

There is even Eye mode and standard mode.M1 A2 is also a lot faster compared to its previous generation M1 A1. A2 packs new optimized Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor which is a octa-centred processor and has great performance.Mi A2 also has boosted its graphic performance with all new Adreno 512 GPU compared to Adreno 506 of last year. The smartphone will not feature new Android P  but come with Android Oreo 8.1

With all new updated specs, Mi A2 also has massive 6GB RAM to boost your performance. This phone really looks like a flagship killer. It has 64GB of internal storage which can even be expanded with micro SD card. This sure is a lot than we expected. Mi is already setting trend for a budget smartphone which many big companies neglect. The only thing that was disappointed last year was Mi A1 Camera. Although it had a dual camera for better portrait shots.I t was a letdown But this year it seems Mi has fixed its camera. This year with Mi A2 with get dual camera just like Mi A1 but the camera sensors have changed. It features 12 MP on the back with  F 1.8  and 20 MP which is great compared to last year. The photos are expected to better than last year and night shots will be way better with f 1.8 sensor.The front of the phone has 20 MP with f 1.8 aperture. There are different features included in the camera like portrait mode, night mode, autofocus, dual-LED , 2x Zoom, HDR mode. This year with all new sensor.

All the specification of this phone seems just right but there is something that xiaomi didn't work out. Yes, you got it right the battery. It packs just 3010 mAh battery which is non-removable. Although with Android Oreo the battery life is great and Xiaomi will optimize with it MIUI. So the screen on time may improve with some software optimization. Apart from that everything looks just fine in this phone. From Design to Display. Everything is top-notch just like the high-end smartphone.

Xiaomi Mi A2 was announced in july 24 and is expected to launch in the first week of August. Xiaomi also introduced all-new colours segment for the smartphone for more appealing looks. i.e.Cherry, Glacier Blue, and black. The international Price of the smartphone is $291 for 32 + 4 Gb RAM. $326 for 64+4 GB RAM and $408 for 6 gb + 128 GB

So we can expect it may cost around Rs 35000-50000 in Nepal. Depending upon which model you choose.

There are now two authorized distributors in Nepal Vatsal Impex and Teletalk . So we may see price competitive price in the market. Both surely this iteration of Mi phones are very expensive compared to last year phones. People are showing negative reaction all over social media regarding the high price of the phone. This is the expected price in Nepal but it can go way up than this. So buying mi phones is no cheap anymore.
